The Neurodiversity Foundation Mission

Our mission is to drastically improve the quality-of-life for neurodivergent individuals by understanding our condition at the most granular level rather than having it interpreted by uninformed observers or society-at-large. Our mission is to provide the most meaningful levels of understanding, research, medical care, coping strategies, education and employment opportunities and whole life care.

We also work continuously to help individuals and families facilitate self-efficacy, acceptance, and connection. The statistics are not favorable to us when it comes to employment, marriage and even life expectancy. Our Foundation is furiously working to boldly challenge the mechanisms that hold us to the current norms.

Many of our members, advisors, clinicians, educators who are also neurodivergent have exceeded the expectations put us on and our mission is to share those values, methods and strategies with those who seek our counsel and support.

We aim to strengthen communities and the workforce by removing barriers, prejudices and limitations on our capabilities by changing the narrative around neurodivergence in all professional fields and social environments.

A few of our platforms & initiatives for autism advocacy and awareness include:

  • Better Diagnostic Criteria and Categorization

    • Underlying Causes and Treatments
